A. Accepting (1) Submission per artist

Type of work:

+ illustration
+ graffiti

All work must be:

+ ready to hang
+ framed
+ size: 8.5x11 inch print on paper 
+ signed by the artist
+ the print can be: hand embellished

Q. Is the art going to be for sale?  If so, who prices it and what's your cut? 

A. Artwork will be for sale / Priced at: ($20 each)   

+ the reason for a (print) easier to price affordable.

+ light weight frame (cut's shipping cost)

 
+ Work_spaces asks for 10% cut on top of the venue space percentage,

   this cover's my time for installing all the work / promotions
   

+ If you don't want your work sold
   please notify us in your submission package

Q. How and when will artists get their work back?

A. Art work will be returned within 1 month / in a time efficient manner after the exhibit ends.

+ If you would like your work back after the show please include a self addressed 

   (money order covering the complete return postage)

Q. Where are they supposed to send it?

A. Send (1) submission per artist to:

Attn: workspaces project

Gallery Hours: Tuesday through Saturday noon - 7pm
And until 11pm on first fridays as part of the South FIRST FRIDAYS art walk

Submission may also be dropped off at the designated location,
Make sure some sort of contact is written on the back of the submission if you would like to drop off & pick up after the event.

+ take a picture of your submission & tag us on instagram

+ Include legible artist information with your submission.

+ Make sure your work is packaged safely since it will be fragile with the frame.
 
+ We will post submissions on the: @theartoftheblackbook
   instagram page so include your instagram name in your package
   so that we can tag you & you know we received it.

+ please take note about having your unsold work sent back to you above.
